Wedding + Y were they GRINDING to gospel songs??

Fist of all I want to thank all of you who have remained loyal to this blog o...laughed with me, thanked God with me, inspired by my post, cried with me..etc...una do well o!

So last weekend b4 I updated my post about getting into grad skool, I was in newyork/new jersey for a wedding. The wedding was on saturday in NJ, but my frends nd I decided to come into NY on wednesday to chill and good thing that my sister was around(from Ghana), hadnt seen her since last christmas so it was alot of fun..catching up and all!*FUN TIMES YOOOO*It was my friends uncle dat was getting married so we came along, her mum was there(from nigeria), we all chilled in a very beautiful hotel sha...tho the momsy made it a point of duty to wake us up everymorning at 6am for prayers.hmmmmmm dat was very deep..cuz 4 me, I havent been in skool in a very long while so u can imagine having to wake up at 6am..not kool
atall..but i love her still!

Sha on friday we had to leave NY for NJ(apparently my friend had to read a speech for the wedding so friday was the rehearsal), so thats how one of the ladies that flew from naija with my frends mum sed she had an inlaw there in NY who worked for the cab service so she called him up and told him we will be needing a ride to NJ that morning and all...ahah u shuld have seen the driver oo, the guy was dressed in the whole igbo cheif attire..as in wrapper plus the overall thing dat they wear as shirt plus the ever outsatanding red igbo cheif hat..lmao..we just started laffing the moment we spotted him as we were coming out of the hotel.

Sha sha.. the wedding was between a Nigerian man and a Camerounian chick..yo the girl was a pretty little thing! Ahh Im sure u guys watch the show "rich bride poor bride" ehn..this bride was such a RICH BRIDE! From the dress, to her jewelry, to the venue, the food, the everything..mehn u really could smell $$$$$.lol...funnnnn wedding tho. Ok so now lets move to the main ish of this post,lol...so it was the time to dance naw..u trust they had to share the songs between the naija songs and the cameroun ones but thre were neutral ones..like pidgin english ones for everyone to understand(afterall alot of african countries do have pidgin english in common). So thats how wen they wer playing the songs, my frends and I had alredy spotted some *adrenaline pumping grinders* and we were just giggling and laughing about it in general...*WE, WE NOR DEY GRIND!* I hate grinding ehn..its gross...disgusting..not christlike..infact lemme not even get into my view on grinding..dats for anoda post.

Sha..it was all funny o..until the songs were changed to pidgin english gospel songs and then we saw wat blew our minds off! THEY WERE GRINDING.....even SANDWICHING(where 2 pple r grinding with 2 in the middle!!!)....Ahh...I wont lie..this really disturbed my sanity o.

This one is not even pidgin english...or couldnt they see the way others were dancing and lifting their hands to God and reverencing him?...atleast that shuld have coded that dis song was gospel o..but I get not..they were prolli very into the grinding action to listen to the words..dats if they dint even know it sef!
Anyways...the whole trip was FUNNNNNNNN!
I enjoyed everybit of the wedding..plus my dress was *GORGEOUS*, having pple stop me to say "nice dress"..ahah me I liked it o. Well sha..we finally got a cab to take us cuz it was late to start calling the igbo cheif driver(lol), so we got an oyibo man....and the price we were charged was $140...u wouldnt believe the igbo driver charged us $350!!!!

True true ehn, that saying that goes "it is the people that kno you dat will kill u*(cant remember how it is phrased sha)...I was so shocked ehn that he more dan doubled his price for his fellow nigerian pple...even his own inlaw that was in the car too!
*I'm an igbo chick ehn...but me I cant even trust dem wen it comes to money...igbo man nor dey come last for money matter!*
